a day + week by design

A peek into my rhythm and templates for designing your day + week

You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily.
The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.
— John Maxwell

Daily ripples of action are the result of the rituals we have in place.

I have created a day (and therefore a life) that reflect my values … It’s the reason I became an entrepreneur 10 years ago.

Designing a day that has rituals built in allows you to conserve your every for making decisions from a clear place and not a fatigued place.
Many people struggle with decision fatigue because they do not have a sequence to their day.

Success + Fulfillment

I believe there are 3 things that will determine success + fulfillment (especially if you are a business owner)

✔️ The energy with which you do the thing (this is why 2 people can do the same thing and have different results)
✔️ Your ability to make fast, clear decisions
✔️ Your consistency each day … an amateur will do something scattered or once and then give up. If you wanna go pro, create a routine around action

I want to share a few tools with you that will help …
I’ve included a few of them below, but if you’d like to receive them as a PDF through my guide,
Tools for the Fresh You, add your email below for an instant download:

day by design

Here’s my specific sequence for my day … this has been about the same for the last 5 years.
I tweak it when I have an incredible day or experience - I blueprint what made that happen.
I’ve also attached a blank one that you can print + complete for yourself.

Week by design

From there, it’s also helpful to design your week to be able to batch your focus as much as possible.
Here is an example of what most week’s look like for me and a template for you to fill in your own.

One of the weekly rituals I keep is the Sunday Scrub - you can read more about that here

kids rhythm

If you have children, I thought I would include a few templates for you. I created these as I was writing the blog post on Homeschooling x Design.
If your kids attend school, you could include cleaning out backpack/lunch after school and a slot for homework before dinner.

If you love the idea of living Life x Design, you’ll love my program, The Beautiful Life Lab.
Would love to have you join us!
