Luck be a Healthy Lady

Oh Vegas...you will always have a special place in my heart. With our 5 year anniversary approaching, we decided to visit the old wedding stomping ground. It was a perfect 4 day trip and I thought I'd share a few things that helped us Veg heads avoid the unhealthy & costly vortex of the strip. Let's tell this story through pictures:

Booked this hotel primarily because there are full kitchens in every room. And there's no smoky casino which is always good to avoid when pregnant...and all other times in your life ;)

Day 1: Attended a great (& free) yoga class at

Lululemon at the Fashion Show Mall

in the morning. Then bought a 3 days bus pass for $20 so that we could go easily from this end of the strip to the other where we found....

A little pool time in the afternoon. I've been meaning to read this book for a while now and breezed right through it on this trip during my morning treadmill sessions and pool time. You have to get this book!

One of my many shopping adventures. This Sephora by the Venetian is so structurally beautiful and will be serving as inspiration for paint in one of the rooms of our new house.
